Art gallery
The art gallery, established in 2006, was added during a major renovation of the Alric C.T. Pottberg Library. Our beautiful 1,000-square-foot art gallery is located in the Alric C.T. Pottberg Library on the West Campus in New Port Richey. Designed to maximize the beauty of displayed works of art, natural light floods the 1,000-square-foot area and professional track and spot lighting optimally displays each exhibit.
Located adjacent to the Performing Arts Center, theater goers often view exhibits before or after productions or during intermissions. Many West Campus visitors reserve time to stroll the naturally beautiful grounds and enjoy observing turtles and birds from the nearby bridge spanning the campus pond.
Annually, a variety of interesting exhibits are coordinated by a volunteer committee composed of PHCC faculty and staff as well as members of the community. All exhibits are presented at no charge to the public. The Art Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday-Thursday, and 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. To schedule private exhibit viewings or events at the Art Gallery, please call 727-816-3229.
