2010 performersThe 2011 Performing Arts Series at Pasco-Hernando Community College is your ticket to great entertainment for the whole family. This season has something for everyone, from Gaelic Storm, a wild ride of Celtic music, to Strawberry Fields, the premiere Beatles tribute, and Martin Preston as Liberace.

Purchase season tickets and receive a 20 percent discount, which means individual tickets start at just $12.00. Tickets purchased for our matinee series receive a 15 percent discount, which means you can purchase a ticket for a little as $12.75. Seniors receive a 10 percent discount on all ticket prices. Gaelic Storm

Gaelic StormSince their big-screen debut in the 1999 movie “Titanic,” this band’s fan base continues to multiply with each new album, turning the one-time pub band into one of the premier touring acts in the Celtic/World music genre. They will preform new songs from their new release, “Cabbage.”

Phil Dirt and the Dozers

Phil Dirt and the Dozers return to PHCC for a second performance of 50s and 60s hits. Last year the band wowed the audience with its “Surf’s Up” Beach Boys Tribute show. This year’s performance will have baby boomers dancing in their seats with Phil Dirt and the Dozers’ upbeat rock and roll music.

Vegas, Soul and Rock & Roll

Vegas, Soul and Rock & Roll“Vegas, Soul and Rock & Roll” is a swinging salute to all great music genres from Big Band to Bandstand and includes the best of the Rat Pack, Bobby Darin, American Bandstand, Motown and a Jersey Boys medley featuring songs made famous by Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.

Strawberry Fields-Beatles Tribute

Stawberry Fields-Beatles TributeStrawberry Fields is the premiere Beatles tribute. They will take you on a Magical Mystery Tour of the Beatles’ greatest hits. Strawberry Fields has a standing gig at B.B. King Blues Club and Grill in Times Square and appeals to audience members of all ages.

Martin Preston as Liberace

Local favorite, Martin Preston recreates the music and glamour of the late, great Liberace. Preston showcases not only the fantastic music of Liberace, but also his spectacular costumes and performs on a replica of his rhinestone-studded grand piano.

The Crystals

The Crystals perform their many hits from the 60s including “One Fine Day,” “Da Doo Ron Ron,” and “And Then He Kissed Me”. Audience members will be singing to these and other popular hits performed by original The Crystals’ member Dee Dee Kennibrew who is joined by Patricia Pritchett-Lewis and Melissa Antoinette Grant.

Tickets will be available for purchase in person beginning September 13 at the PHCC college store in New Port Richey or at the theater box office one hour before each show.

Venue

Shows take place in the Performing Arts Center, a 620-seat auditorium located on PHCC’s West Campus (Building H) in New Port Richey, Florida.

PHCC’s Performing Arts Center is a small, intimate theatre where every seat has a great view. The 620-seat amphitheater arena provides seating in six sections and has a proscenium stage that allows for excellent visibility and acoustics from every angle.
