GED testing
PHCC, an official General Educational Development Testing Center, offers the paper version of the GED test, administered on the New Port Richey campus, 10230 Ridge Road. The two-day test covers the entire five subject area.

To register, go to the PHCC career and testing center, West Campus, room B221. The fee to take the entire five subject area test is $50. Re-tests for each subject portion of the test will cost $10. Cash, check, money order, credit card and debit card are accepted for payment.
The GED test is not offered online. It is a proctored test that must be taken at GED testing sites.To register for the GED test, test-takers need to present a Florida driver’s license or other photo ID card.
GED tests provide an opportunity for adults who have not graduated from high school to earn a Florida high-school level diploma. The GED carries the same weight as a local high school diploma, and is honored worldwide for college entrance and employment requirements. To be eligible to take the GED exam you must be a Florida resident, and be at least 18 years of age or older.
