Bachelor’s degree in elementary education
|
Students interested in pursuing their bachelor’s degree in education need to complete their AA degree, take and pass either the CLAST exam, the Praxis I, or the General Knowledge Test (GKT), and complete the three state pre-Education courses: EDF 2701, EDG 2005, and EME 2040. To meet Florida Department of Education requirements for graduation, all students will be required to take and pass all portions of the Florida Teacher Certification Examination prior to admission to the final internship. The program highly recommends students take the GKT for admission to the program. For more information about the program or to make an appointment, please contact Dr. Gwyn Senokossoff at 727-873-4057 or gsenokos@stpt.usf.edu. You may also contact Kathy Lambert at 727-873-4991.
